Calendar/Custom List Join

I am using Sharepoint designer on my 2010 sharepoint site.

I have created a CalenDAR AND CUSTOM LIST.
Custom list has date as one of its fields.
Is ther a simple way t get the items to show up in the calendar on the days that
are in date field of list.
