My Calendar and OUTLOOK Exchange Web parts

Asked By: Jean    Date: Oct 13    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 3493

I am trying to get the My Calendar and other OWA webparts working and I keep
getting the logon screen for OWA instead of the Calendar....is there any way to
logon on auto...so you should not have to logon again.

I gave exchweb on a different server Integrated authenication on the security
tab of IIS rebooted the server to ensure it sync in but no way did that fix the

I am still getting OWA logon screen in "My Calendar" web part.

Please anyone ever have this issue.???

Make sure the OWA server  is a Trusted Site in IE...

In IE I did that gave it trusted site recognition and also under security
gave it Automatic logon  with current username and password.

still no go Bryan what do you think.

Have you confirmed that integrated  authentication works when browsing to OWA
directly on the same server  you provide as parameters to the calendar  web part?

I got it working  I did away with the forms authenication  that Exchange 2003
OWA is based on ...I just don't get the pretty form that OWA puts out...I just
get a sign on for windows integrated  authenication and then the inbox but
switching it to windows authenciation when I log on to the SharePoint :Portal
Server I do not need to authenicate twice...weee... that was a bit of an issue
...but it has clousure.

Thanks so much for your input it got me on the right track.

Again a mighty "Thank You" for your help and team effort to resolve this
