Add button to WikiMiniConsole

  Asked By: Meredith    Date: Mar 14    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1237

I'm trying to add an additional button 'Count' to the
WikiMiniConsole after the 'Edit|History|Incoming Links' but not sure
which way is I'm supposed to do this.

Should I add to the rendering templates in defaulttemplates.ascx or is
there another way?

Current buttons 'Edit|History|Incoming Links' are defined as:
<SharePoint:WikiEditItemButton Text=
"<%$Resources:wss,siteactions_wikieditpage%>" runat="server"/>
<SharePoint:WikiPageHistoryButton Text=
ButtonID="WikiPageHistory" runat="server"/>
<SharePoint:WikiIncomingLinksButton Text=
ButtonID="WikiIncomingLinks" runat="server"/>

The new button 'Count' should just increment the number of a specific
field in a list by 1 Do I need to write a new class library
'NewClassLibrary' and add a method 'CounterButton'
to be addressed something like this in the render template?

<NewClassLibrary:CounterButton Text= "Counter" ButtonID="Counter"
