New button to add additional contacts to 'Contacts' list is not show

New button to add additional contacts to 'Contacts' list is not showing
up. It is only showing up if i log in using an admin account that we
used to setup and configure sharepoint but even though my personal
account has admin rights to the list, i still don't see the add button
to add contacts to the 'Contacts' list in SharePoint. What am i
missing? I have looked through the permissions and gave myself full
control but that doesn't seem to work.

As long as you have at least "Add" rights  to that Contacts list, you
should see the NEW button.

By default, Contributors can add  items. You might want to double check
your permissions  on that list  itself, and you're right, if you have Full
control, you should definitely see the NEW button.

I have not heard from anyone about this issue. Has anyone seen this
before? Any help you can provide would help me great deal.
