Hi i am facing serious issues with bulk upload in sharepoint list. I have a list with nearly 80 columns. 25 columns are calculated fields remaining are text and number fields. i wanted to upload first 30 columns with data nearly 7000 records from access file. It takes more than an hour to do so. I know lists can handle huge amount of data but i dont know where i am missing the part
Alternatives tried and still issue exists
Opened the list in datasheet view and pasted all the records

opened the list in access 2007 mode. wrote a query to upload the data still it takes more than an hour

Please let me know if there are any other suggestions
which mode is faster and better .. is writing code or programs for bulk upload better option. please suggest which is better and faster
