Cannot browse to SPS2003 Portal server after changing it's computer

I have installed SPS 2003 and another server which acts as database/SQL2000
server. It works fine.

We try to change the computer name into something else, after that we cannot
browse into our portal anymore except using computer's IP address. Does anyone
know how to solve this problem?

Which server  are you changing  the name of - SPS or SQL? If SPS, you'll need to
add the new name as an "Alternate Access URL" in the SPS Administration
interface. If SQL you'll need to update the database settings in the SPS
Administration to point to the new name.

It's SPS. Ok.....i'll try to add "Alternate Access URL".
