anyone can help me with this. A friend of mine has deleted the Site Directory
from the Portal, but he has gone on to create a lot of WSS sites and then some
contents under them....

now his search is not working and that is because the non-portal content part of
the search crawls the sites in the site directory? any idea how to get it
back??

another problem is the search results returned by the search contains badly
formed urls for e.g.
