BreadCrumbTrail Web part problem after editing in Front Page 2003

I am using a BreadCrumbTrail web part on my share point pages. After
making some changes to Share Point Pages in Front Page 2003, I saved
the page and opened it a browser.
The BreadCrumbTrail web part was showing some html content prefixed
along with the hyperlink path.

Here is what was displayed.

<span class="bc-leadin">Return to:</span> Home > Area > Sub area

This happens only when page is edited in Front Page.
Any idea of solving this problem?

do not use Front page  to edit in SPPS in causes major problems. We lost two
sites until microsoft told us, we can edit with Front Page.
