It used to be that when I tagged a document's profile with a keyword for a
best bet, I could basically go to the server in the next minute, do a search
and it showed up under best bets. Now, I don't get any best bets in the
search dashboard for anything, even items that have been tagged for weeks
now. So I think I broke my best bets.

I've been playing around with different search web parts, but now I'm back
to the basics (I think) with the original search web part that came with
Sharepoint. I may have messed something up, but I can't figure out what.
To recover, I imported the search web part from the home dashboard to the
search dashboard -- are they the same?

I've checked the usual suspects: make sure best bets webpart is on the
dashboard, that it's visible, event logs on SPPS, etc.

When are best bets processed? With the indexing?
