BDC Master - Detail - Details web part relationship

I'm trying to provide a solution that requires a Master/Detail/Details
relationship. Using BDC I can get backend AS/400 data that has a Master/Detail
using the BDC List and BDC Related List web part. I'd like for users to be able
to click the details and then update another webpart with details of the BDC
Related List web part detail.
Does anyone know if this type of cascading web part connection is possible?

You should be able to just setup a connection  from the master  to filter the
first detail  list based on the selection in the master. Then setup a second
connection from the First Detail list  to filter the second detail list based on
what is selected.
