BCS .Net Shim & Microsoft.BusinessDataSystemSpecific IContextPropert

  Asked By: Dale    Date: Sep 05    Category: MOSS    Views: 958

I have created a BCS .net shim that inherits from IContextProperty (I need to
get the LobSystemInstance) using Visual Studio 2010. Problem here is that the
ReadList (Finder function) and the ReadItem (Specific Finder function) are
public static functions that are created when the functions are added to the
bdcm file - so the stubbed functions are added for me. The functions that are
added when inheriting the IContextProperty are not static.
public Microsoft.BusinessData.Runtime.IExecutionContext ExecutionContext
{
get;
set;
}

public Microsoft.BusinessData.MetadataModel.ILobSystemInstance
LobSystemInstance
{
get;
set;
}

public Microsoft.BusinessData.MetadataModel.IMethodInstance
MethodInstance
{
get;
set;
}

How can I make a call to a public function from a public static function? I
have tried to create another class other than the service class and inherit the
IContextProperty but have not found anything that works.
