Bamboo world clock and weather Extremely SLOW

Is anyone experiencing very slow connections with this web part OR ANY
web part that may connect to weather.msn.com? We have been experiencing
timeouts on our server farm. I know this is a Bamboo web part and not
SharePoint, but I can't seem to find anything on this in Bamboo's
knowledge base.

We're using it in a number of places and no slow down. We have
experience slow-downs/misfunctioning before and I reported it at that
time. Because it's a free web part, their SLA isn't the greatest but I
did get a response some days later when it had already cleared up.
