Backup/Restore/Migrate

I have to migrate a SPS workspace from server A to server B.

Can I do this with msdmback.vbs or do I need tools to do this?

its not possible to backup and restore a single workspace. msdmback.vbs will do
the complete SPS backup and restore.

But can I backup the whole server and restore it on another server,
This means another machine with another name (and IP address)?
