Backing Up Files to a Portal Site

I have a client who would like to run a batch file in order to backup their local PC’s files (mydocs, email, etc…) to a portal page so that when they are traveling they can easily pull down files off a Portal site. Anyone have any suggestions on an easy to way to setup a batch file to just copy files into a portal site that can then be pulled back down through the web?
