Back to Ghosted Pages

Is there a way to get the Portal and the team sites back to ghosted without loosing any data or information. I can run Ghost hunter web part or modify in entries in the database, but risks are involved.

Does this sounds logical. I save an unghosted site as a site template and then use stsadmin "addtemplate" command to add the template. Now I will create new team site using this template( once everything is back to ghosted).

This will not work. Any page that has ever been unghosted and then
reghosted using Maurice's Ghost Hunter Web Part will bleed thru as
unghosted when saved in a custom Site Template that is subsequently used
to provision new Webs. All Webs provisioned will have unghosted pages.
