How can I automatically delete "Missing from Import" profiles

As you may know, when a user is deleted from Active Directory, the next import

I can't speak to how we did it, since I was the analyst and not the
coder for the project... but we used the Sharepoint API to put
together a script which checks for profiles  which are not in AD and
removes them, because we did not want to wait for the 3 failed
imports to have the profile  be removed.

I would recommend taking a look at the API. I know it wasn't a real
time-consuming fix once the coder started out down that road.
