Authenticating MOSS to more than one AD

Asked By: Mrigendra    Date: Jul 02    Category: MOSS    Views: 585

My client has multiple AD instances across their campus.
Other than the one in which MOSS has been installed, how does MOSS
authenticate across the other instances of AD?

If the AD Domains have a trust between the DCs then you should be able to add
users by entering [Domain Name]\[Username]

If the Domains are all part of a Forest you should be able to add users
directly. If they are part of separate Forests, but Federated I've read that
you can use the Web Single Sign-on setting in Authentication providers to access
a set of Federated Domains.
