Attach signature to a document

I need to attach a signature in the document, please help me hopw to achieve
this,
if collect signature workflow is the solution for this, how to do this
I tried by creating a workflow of collect signature, I do know how actually its
work ,any prerequiste is there with respect to the document, any link other this
office.microsoft.com/.../HA102202021033.aspx
this is in sharepoint2007
