Yes, I have the same issue. And the only fix I found for it is Not
allowing more than one email id . Also it has to people Only ( and not
people or Groups ).
As a work around for it, you can create a Simple Work Flow task to just
send emails using the sharepoint designer . But that's an overhead for a
simple emailing thingie to create a WorkFlow for it. Nextly, the Format
of Emails created from Sharepoint Designer is really BAD!
There is a second work around to this. Create a view for assigned to =
"[Me]" and set the Alerts for that View. But, this too is not a very
standard solution. Cos, if the users created more alerts by themselves,
it will result in duplicate alerts for same task !
