ASPX page accessing SharePoint data

Asked By: Ervin Pickett         Date: Jun 22, 2005      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 242

Does anyone have an example of how to do this? Basically we would like an ASPX page excluded in SharePoint to access the object model and write out a list of all the sites in the portal. The main problem deals with authentication and impersonation. How do we do the impersonation to grant the default IIS account access? We've tried using the impersonator class for web parts and that doesn't work. However, the impersonator class does work when we use it in a web part on the portal. Does anyone have any information on how to get an ASPX page to access a SharePoint list or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
