One of our portal user got this message from the
portal:
This alert has been automatically deactivated by the
portal because it generated too many alert results.
She registered "Send an alert summary daily" for an
area. For the first two months, it functioned well.
But then all of a sudden, she got the above message.
The area has been in normal operational mode: NO
excessive changes. I also registered alert for the
same area and I didn't get flooding of alert messages
nor the above deactivate message.
What could have been wrong?
As an admin user, is there a way to check the alert of
other users? Is there an alert quotas an admin can set
for the whole site and each individual user?
