Architecture of Webparts

Asked By: Jordon    Date: Oct 17    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 684

1. Since the webparts can have linked or embedded content, if all the
webparts are linked content webparts with the linked source being an
asp page, would this strategy be architecturally valid?

2. Does this mean that the linked content can be any dynamic HTML
source - asp, jsp, servlets, php or something even more bizarre?

3. As I can specify a custom XSL for each webpart, is it possible to
change the look and feel of the entire dashboard site the way I want?
How much valid would this approach be architecturally? Would it be a
bad choice to make - if the XML markup for the webpart changes, I
would have to rewrite the entire XSL all over again?
