Applying custom master to mysite

i want to apply my custom.master to My Site.But there is no option of how
exactly we do it in other sites like going to site settings- modify all settings
- look and feel - master page and putting custom.master there.

This has to be done in the site  definition filesystem. I don't think there is an
interface for that, but it can be vis SPD though.
