After a series of install and uninstall and finally reinstalling the IIS I
was able to see the portal page without any problem
I just need to clarify something
in read me file it is mentioned to keep the same application pool
before installing SPS beta 2 I created virtual site and after installing
instead of creating portal on default I use the new created virtual site
now when I saw the IIS I saw three application pool running one of the
default site other of the SPS central administration and third of the portal
site
do I assign all the application pool to the portal pool , or is supposed to
be done only for any other portal created apart from the one created now
what happens if I stop default website and remove its application pool will
it effect my setup
