Anyone familiar with the csegrollup 3.1 web part?

Asked By: Rey    Date: Jul 10    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2205

I think I may be misunderstanding how to use this product.

In SharePoint, I have created a top level site called http://server/sites/sitename

Within sitename, I have then created a subsite called siteA, and within siteA, I created a child site childsiteA.

Now, I have the top level setting for the webpart to read:

How would I grab the information from the childsiteA lists?

I tried to add: childsiteA:Announcements and it brought back no records. (I made sure to have 2 listings within the Announcements of the child site)

Second, I am not too skilled with the XSLT rendering, and am not sure how to manipulate the XSLT accurately. I have looked at some examples, and have modified variable names, but it is hard for me to discern whether it is xslt rendering issues or setup. if you have some very basic xslt listing just a 2 column list, that would be great.

This is the freeware SharePoint data aggregator similar to the one Corasworks offers.
