What Am I Supposed to See Using Exchange Web Parts

Asked By: Rico Dodson         Date: Jul 22, 2005      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 280

When I put the "My Inbox" Web Part on a page and I enter the Exchange
server and my mailbox name, what is supposed to appear in the web
part? I get the MS OWA Log On Screen and I can't get through it.

Why would the web part ask me for the mailbox name when I'm putting
the user name and password in the Log On screen anyway?

The Web Part can display more than just your inbox. It can also display
other Exchange public folders.

That said, I find very little value in the OWA Web Parts. They are
clunky and since OWA is Web-based, its entire fabulous interface is only
one link click away.
