Alphabet list filter

  Asked By: Dennis    Date: Mar 25    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 5620

I have to create a type of filter that will let users select a letter
and show a list of items based on the pick. Does anyone know if there
is something on codeplex for this, or the best way to do it?

Are you talking about a google-esque combobox behavior, like the demo at
http://easylistbox.com/demoComboAjax.aspx ?

If so, you might try the custom field project at
http://www.codeplex.com/autocompletelookupax .

That idea, but with the a to z listed out like A B C D E F --> X Y Z
Click the letter, sort the list.

Use a Content Editor together with a Document Library.

Content Editor to have A - Z

Document Library to have 26 folders but you change the view so that you dont
view the folder but the items  in the folder. Folders to be placed in a document
