Alerts: not working when renaming a file in Explorer view

Alerts are being sent when files are added or deleted in Explorer view.

Alerts are not being sent when files are:

- added and the names are changed, or
- names are changed

in Explorer view.

Thanks in advance for any ideas on how to resolve this issue and your time.

Hi,
Please check the alert settings for that list.I guess you might have selected that alerts should trigger when an item is added alone. Check if any option to select after changing names also you can trigger mail alerts.
