Alert times off an hour after daylight saving time change

Asked By: Amie    Date: Jun 26    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 4631

After the time change this Sunday AM alerts began coming in an hour early. Only
after resetting the alert time did they begin coming in at the correct time.

All server times, as far as we can detect, are correct.

Thoughts about where else to look?

We're having the same problem with early alerts.

I noticed that the NotifyTimeUTC field in the SchedSubscription table is off for
alerts created/modified prior to Sunday but the NotifyTime field is correct.

Your post is the first confirmation I've seen of anyone else having this issue
since I started looking into it. I found several timezone related issues from
back in 2007 that have apparently been fixed and the following discussion which
sounds like the exact same problem (in reverse) when DST took affect this past

I'm hoping others on the list can confirm this or maybe tell us what we've done
wrong. :)

We are having the same issue, and had the opposite issue in March!
Our wss 3.0 version is (sp2 but no updates)
In March the fix was askiing everyone to open and confirm their alerts, which
'fixed' the issue, but I'd like to find a permanent fix if one exists.
