AJAX in WSS 3.0 / MOSS 2007

I'm currently reading "Installing ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 in
Windows SharePoint Services Version 3.0"
(msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb861898.aspx). I had some
questions based off this article, and was wondering if anyone has setup
their environment for AJAX.

It mentions you need to install ASP.NET AJAX 1.0. We have installed .NET
Framework 3.5 SP1, which includes AJAX 1.0 features. I'm assuming
there's no need to install ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 since the pre-req was
already met by 3.5's installation.

Any other gotchas before I start slashing away?
