ADO: Is this the correct protocol?

Asked By: Roland    Date: Apr 23    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 950

I have built a SPS site that sits on the DMZ. Documents that are
produced and located on SPS are mapped onto a different webserver
using XMLDOM. SPS Categories are used to provide navigation on the
website. Uploaded occurs every night via schedules task. The
protocols used is a ADO.

Everything works just fine, I use the new MS Non-Employee SPS licence
to overcome the client access problems. Just one question however:

Is ADO the most secure method of connectivity or should I be using
other protocols? The website is built using basic asp pages that
reference SPS.
