Adding more than 11 pages to a Meeting Workspace

  Asked By: Loren    Date: Aug 06    Category: MOSS    Views: 1367

Does anyone know if there is a workaround to adding more than 11 pages
to a Meeting Workspace. Ideally I would like to add a second row of
pages across the top, but when I try to add a 12th page, I get this
message:

============
Cannot save the property settings for this Web Part. The maximum
number of pages that can appear for this meeting has been reached. A
page must be deleted before a new one can be added.

In SharePoint 2003 the limit was 9 pages, so the extra pages  may or may not be a
good thing.

Having more than 11 pages probably makes the site less usable overall. Just
because you have the capability, does not mean you should use them.

I would propose reviewing your site design and possibly redoing it to fit the
limitation. Too many choices can lead to user confusion.

Since I do not know how you are using your site or why you chose a meeting
workspace to start with, I cannot really recommend a better solution.

If you want to talk about site design ideas and usability, email me off list.

Looks like it is a SharePoint limitation:
