Adding a Local SharePoint User Error

Asked By: Keon Melendez         Date: Sep 17, 2008      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 255

We are set up to have Active Directory (AD) authentication with
SharePoint. However, a need has arisen to have local accounts in
addition to our AD accounts as we do not want these accounts to appear
in AD. I tried adding a local account by going into the SSP, going
into user profiles and properties, and adding a user profile. The
following error is returned:

"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size
of the collection. Parameter name: index."

Does anybody know what could be causing this or if there is a
different method that should be followed?
