I am trying to add contacts list and other webparts like add links to a sub area. But I do not see them in the add web part galley. How do I add them to this area.
Navigate to your area where you need the content and select Manage Content under Actions. Select Create in the top bar and go from there. Your newly created list/library will then appear for that area (only) in the Add Web Parts pane.
