Adding Columns to NewForm.aspx MOSS2007 (Intranet)

Date: Oct 13    Category: MOSS    Views: 8044

I'm trying to do something similar to this:
http://bit.ly/p99DK4 (adding columns to the Employee Training site).

Essentially what we want to do is ask a few questions of people when they sign
up for a training event. Adding the columns is easy, but I am wary of editing
the NewForm.aspx in Designer.
Won't that unghost my page?
Is there a better way to do it?

If you're worried about messing with the form, then create a copy of it and
edit that instead. When you think it's ready, go into SPD and change the
default New Item form for the list.
