ADAM Database in SBS 2003

Asked By: Salina    Date: Mar 10    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 671

I am trying to enable cross-domain access to a SharePoint site
collection in SBS 2003 R2 Premium. That is, since SBS cannot
participate in any "trust" relationship, I see the only solution as
instituting forms-based authentication. I am following step-by-steps
from various SBS blogs.

Unfortunately, the first step in all of these is to enable ADAM in the
Windows components section of Add/Remove programs. It ain't there on my
box. Can someone help?

BTW, apologies if this is an SBS issue. I will post over there if it

Are you certain that you have the R2 features installed in your SBS
deployment? ADAM is an R2 feature.
