In Sharepoint 2003, does anyone know where domain user accounts are
stored in the SQL server database and Table name? We are in the
process of migrating our domain users from a NT environment to Active

To the best of my knowledge it is domain SIDs that are stored, not account
names. If you are doing an NT to AD migration  you will need to make sure the
SIDs are migrated as well.

And the table for Windows SharePoint Services is called UserInfo - and a
user account will appear in here once for each site collection they are
a member of (or have visited through being a member via an NT group).

And be aware that SPS/WSS do NOT support the use of SIDHistory so you
can face some interesting challenges if you have secured access to sites
using NT4 accounts and then want to start using AD accounts instead
since, obviously, the SIDs change. This same problem occurs if you were
to move a user between two AD domains - see
