Accessing sharepoint site

I've a one more problem here. I'm new to Sharepoint but I'm
taking care of sharepoint sites. My question here is "some of the
users" here are not able access the site. I don't know what it is.
What is the minimum requirement to use a sharepoint site? I think some
of them are using windows 98. Will that be a problem? Thanks in
advance.

The only requirement  that i am aware of is users must have IE 5.5++.
What error if any are those users that are not able to access  the
site receiving?
