I am maintaining intranet site built on SPS v1 since one yr. But of late am
having problems with access rights. Users are unable to add/edit/delete/approve
files. Users have been given adequate rights. Finally I realised that, if I make
the user as Local Administrator for the server, it behaves properly. So I ended
up making many users as local administrator for the server, which is against the
security policies.
Has anyone any solution for this, and can anyone explain me why this is
happening.
