2010 Search needs hotfix? "Turn on more accessible mode ..."

Anyone know if this 2007 hotfix needs to be installed on a 2010 installation? I
added the registry key as described, reset and recrawled content however pages
still return in search results with the summary text including the hidden tags.

When you execute common searches in a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
site, you receive the following information in the search results summary:
Turn on more accessible mode Skip to main content Turn off more accessible mode

So, let me ask differently.

How do you exclude all the hidden features/buttons/navigational items from being
picked up in the indexing and displaying in the search results?

The web designer has hidden the 'turn on more accesible mode' but results still
return other nonsense as well as the navigational items.

Skip Ribbon Commands … Skip to main content … Site Map | Global Sites … Site
Actions … This page location is: .....

I'm a search admin not a designer so any help appreciated since Sharepoint
search gets the blame.

I'm seeing extraneous navigation items being picked up in my indexes too. So
you're not alone. It's certainly not ideal.
