2010 Custom Templates

I have created a list in SP 2010 with multiple columns of different types. I
then saved this list as a template. But when I create a new list off this
template I only get the title column which is a column that I renamed. I
also do not get any of the custom views that I created. I did this entire
process exactly as I did it in earlier versions.

Suggestions?
