2 approval Views..

I am probably missing something obvious, but is there a way to create
2 approval views for an announcment list in wss? Every time I try to
create a new view, it only shows approved items, and I cannot find any
setting anywhere to show all items.
Perhaps only one approval view is allowed?

If you are looking to view all of the announcements, check out the
Approve/reject items view.

But yes new views will only show approved items.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself properly. What I am trying to do is to
have two approval views, so that one set of people can approve certain
items, and another set of people approve the other items. I modified
the Approve/Reject items view, so that it shows me just one set of
items. Now I need another Approve/Reject view to show the rest, but I
can't figure out how to create it.

The only way I'd know to do this would be to use different metadata to
create the second view. It actually can be the same metadata, just held
in a different column.
