Possible if you have a single  Doc Lib containing the document  and otherwise in other locations (preferably in the same site collection) use a Data View Web Part (part of SPD 2007) nowadays called officially a Data Form Web Part.

(The alternative of a Content Query Web Part is only available with MOSS so your "by the way" comment was necessary info !)

P.S. There is nothing particularly ECM about this so I'd suggest a normal SP forum such as Admin next time.
